City employee accused of bribery arrested
MIAMI (WSVN) -- An employee of the Housing Assistance Network of Dade is accused of taking money from a woman who sought his help.
Carlos Vazquez's job was to secure housing for those in need. He was arrested Wednesday after police said he accepted $5,000 from a woman in return for a townhouse. The 39-year-old is charged with official misconduct of a public servant, compensation for unlawful behavior and bribery.
His accused accomplice, Odalys Delisle, 45, was also arrested. Police said she collected the money.
Both are being held without bond.
