Gun buyback event held today

MIAMI (WSVN) -- The City of Miami is continuing to take steps to curb gun violence by holding it's second gun buyback event in a week.

The Miami Police Department scheduled the event Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church on Northwest 13th Street and Third Avenue in Overtown.

Authorities said you can drop off weapons with no questions asked.
