Local firefighter accused in drug trafficking case

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida firefighter is behind bars.

The Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms Adminstration arrested Santiago Gonzalez, 49, on Thursday as part of an armed drug trafficking case. He made his first appearance in court Friday afternoon.

Santiago is the only member of the Coral Springs Fire Department involved in this case.

Gonzalez remains at the Broward County jail.
