Driver crashes into light pole; intersection shut down

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A vehicle crashed into a light pole near Northwest Seventh Avenue and 79th Street Sunday.

The car wrapped around the pole and was barely recognizable.

Rescue crews were able to remove the driver from the vehicle. They took the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital. He suffered severe injuries.

Three others were also transported to the hospital.
