Fans upset after Justin Bieber is a no-show

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Stricken with Bieber fever, thousands of fans showed up to the AAA Sunday morning. But the main attraction was a no-show.

Several thousand fans were invited to a special Justin Bieber film concert project.

The event was scheduled for Sunday morning prior to the big concert to gather footage for an upcoming DVD.

But the girls arrived to only get some bad news. "They were told they were going to see Justin Bieber," said Dance Director Damaris Eden, "to hold down their energy, thank you for the performance, they were not getting paid for this. Their treat was to see Justin Bieber, and he just decided not to show up."

Three hundred girls from the Bar Dance Company in Doral were part of the event.

The girls arrived at the AAA at 9 a.m. Sunday morning, ready for an exciting day. Though it was supposed to end with a visit from Justin, instead it ended in tears. "He got us all disappointed to meet him," said one fan, "and we were all excited to meet him, and he just let us all down, and he told us to get our phones ready and everything, and he had a diva moment, and I'm like one of his biggest fans."

The girls performed as the crowd for a concert DVD, even signed permission slips to attend.

The director of the local dance studio defended her students and called on the Biebs to make the situation right. "The only thing that Justin Bieber can do to amend things," said Eden, "is to come to this school and wait for every single girl that was here today since 9 o'clock in the morning, and at least greet them."

"I was about to buy my concert tickets, but I didn't," said a disappointed fan, "just because of this. Expecting to see him, but he wasn't there."

But not all the fans have hard feelings toward Bieber. Sunday's concert went ahead as planned with many happy girls screaming the night away. "See, we love Justin Bieber so much that we struggled to get tickets," said a young fan. "We tried to win from the radio station, and then we just got these tickets last minute yesterday. Like just last night, it was just last minute stuff, so now we are here and going to see my best friend."

A representative for Justin Bieber said he was never supposed to be a part of the dress rehearsal. They said they will be making a full statement regarding the issue soon.
