OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida high school that has a history of needing repairs is dealing with another problem.

On Tuesday, a chunk of the ceiling at Northeast High School gave way, sending tiles crashing down into a hallway. Luckily, the collapse happened during class, when the halls are mostly empty.

The school has been in need of roof repairs for years and has also dealt with malfunctioning school air conditioning units, leaking ceilings and mold problems.

No students were hurt.
