Family targeted with molotov cocktail

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police said someone threw a molotov cocktail inside a home where a South Florida family was sleeping, early Wednesday morning.

Luckily, police said the fire bomb did not explode when it was thrown through a window of the home, located at Southwest Second Street and 45th Avenue.

A woman and her 8-year-old child were inside sleeping when it happened. They were not injured.

Officials are investigating.
