Students injured after classmate sprays fire extinguisher

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police said several middle school students suffered minor injuries after another student discharged a fire extinguisher.
Police officers and Fire Rescue crews responded to Norland Middle School located at 1235 NW 192nd Terr., around 10 a.m. Thursday.
Officials said some students were treated on the scene and other students were transported to Jackson North with minor injuries. All students are expected to be OK.
Miami-Dade Schools Police is currently speaking to the student who allegedly discharged the fire extinguisher that resulted in several injuries to fellow classmates. It is unknown at this time why the student sprayed the fire extinguisher.
