Miami Police officer denied bond

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A South Florida police officer will remain behind bars.

A judge has denied bond for Miami Police Officer Luis Hernandez. The 27-year-old faces charges of armed kidnapping and sexual battery.

Authorities said Hernandez was supposed to be taking a woman to jail when instead he sexually assaulted her. The officer of seven years allegedly fondled the woman and forced her to perform oral sex on him.

Police arrested Hernandez after finding his DNA on the woman.
