Another Miami officer arrested

MIAMI (WSVN) -- More bad news for the Miami Police Department.

On Thursday, another one of the department's officers was arrested.

Harold James, an eight-year veteran, faces extortion charges stemming from an FBI investigation into his alleged involvement in a sports betting ring in Liberty City. He has entered a plea of not guilty.

This is just the latest incident of alleged misconduct involving the department.

Officer Luis Fernandez was arrested Wednesday and charged with kidnapping and sexual battery. He remains behind bars, held without bond.
