Burglars appear in bond court

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Burglars appeared in bond court after police caught them in the act in Miami Beach.

Three people are behind bars after a boy's heroic actions.

An 11-year-old called 911 when he saw three burglars break the glass and enter his family's waterfront home on Chase Avenue in Miami Beach.

The boy said he hid behind a closet door and made the call that caught the crooks.

Emergency Operator: "911, what's your emergency?"

Boy: "They're breaking the door. Please hurry!"

The boy wasn't hurt, but he described it as a very scary moment.

The burglars made a mess of the home, but police arrived on scene just in time to catch them and take them to jail.
