Police identify child struck and killed

HOMESTEAD, Fla. (WSVN) -- We now know the name of the child killed in a deadly accident Friday in Homestead.

Her name was Jamariah Miller.

The 2-year-old little girl was struck and killed near Campbell Drive and Southwest 162nd Avenue.

Police said the car hit her after she strayed behind caretakers while crossing the street.

The driver stopped when it happened. Investigators said no charges will be filed.
