Local airport to receive cutback
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is set to make a critical cutback.
Published reports said FLL plans to operate with just one runway.
Starting May 6, one of the two existing runways is expected to be taken out of service while a new runway is built.
That's going to cause longer delays and even completely shut down air traffic if the operational runway has to be cleared.
