Firefighters save pet trapped in apartment fire

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (WSVN) -- Firefighters found an animal emergency after a fire broke out inside an apartment.

Firefighters forced their way inside the Napoli Gardens Complex along Coral Club Drive and Coral Springs Drive as flames raced through, filling it with smoke.

The apartment was left destroyed.

Rescue crews found the dog hiding under a bed.

The pet was treated on scene before being taken to an animal hospital.
