Teen struck by scooter expected to be OK

WEST PARK, Fla. (WSVN) -- A scary situation on the streets of South Florida ends well.

A 14-year old boy was struck by a scooter in West Park.

Police said he was walking to his school bus along Southwest 25th Street and 56th Avenue when he was hit.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the scooter also suffered injuries, although they were minor.

Police said they will most likely ticket him for passing a stopped school bus.
