Sea turtle returns home after accidentally being caught

MIAMI (WSVN) -- An endangered Loggerhead Sea Turtle headed back to her ocean home this weekend.

A fisherman accidentally caught Sandy the sea turtle and now helped return her to her natural habitat.

The angler had been fishing from a bridge in Islamorada when he hooked the turtle.

Sandy made a full recovery after doctors at the turtle hospital removed the hook from her throat.
