Officer on motorcycle rushed to hospital

HIALEAH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A Hialeah motorcycle cop is recovering after an accident on Interstate 75.

7Skyforce HD was over the scene Thursday morning. The officer somehow ended up off his bike and on the road, on I-75 at Northwest 138th Street.

Officials do not believe another vehicle was involved.

The officer was rushed to Palmetto General Hospital. He injured his shoulder and back, but he is expected to be OK.
