Police search for WaveRunner thief

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police released surveillance video capturing a WaveRunner theft.

A man was seen on the surveillance footage knocking on the front door of a Southwest Miami-Dade home, Thursday morning.

When no one answered the door, the man cut the lock on a gate to the backyard, backed in his pickup truck, hooked up the watercraft and took off. "It's sick to watch, really, to come home and watch the footage and actually see what they do, it's so calm [for them], like it's their house," said Yasmany Beitra.
