Man in stable condition after being shot by police

HIALEAH, Fla. (WSVN) -- South Florida police officers said they were forced to fire.

Officers in Hialeah stopped a man in a red Audi at West Fourth Avenue and 21st Street Friday night.

During the stop, at some point police said they were forced to shoot the man, but so far there's no word on why.

Crews took the man to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
