SUNRISE, Fla. (WSVN) -- The Sunrise Suns hosted the National Wheelchair Basketball Tournament at the Sunrise Civic Center.

The Orlando Magic Wheels, Tampa Bay Strong Dogs and Miami Heat Wheels are all taking to the court, representing Florida, over the next couple of days for the pro-tournament.

Players on the team started the group just playing basketball for fun, but the team went pro in the last couple of years. They now play ball in the big leagues. "To see them out there on the court," said Sherrod Nelson, "shows that they have a love of the sport, they're true athletes, and they give a hundred percent of their bodies to a sport that they do love."

The Suns players are all members of the Broward Spinal Cord Injury Support Group.

This is the team's second year hosting the tournament.
