MIAMI (WSVN) -- Judges are ready for a reptile roundup in the Everglades Python challenge.
The big hunt for Burmese Pythons ended Sunday night, and so far, hunters have captured and killed 50 big snakes. More than 1,500 people registered to hunt for the invasive species.
Officials said in order to qualify for the cash, the carcasses must be turned in by 5 p.m. Monday.
Officials plan to announce the winners of the challenge at Zoo Miami on Saturday.
