COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have recovered the body of a man after his car was found submerged in a lake.

Thirty-year-old Isaac Page, who his family members call PJ, had been missing since Sunday. His family knew immediately that something was wrong. "We called all the hospitals, all the hospitals in the local area and no one had him," said Page's father, Isaac Sr.

Two days later, Coconut Creek Police were called out to investigate after a passerby noticed tire marks, missing shrubs and a sign that had been knocked off its post and into a tree. Debbie Shields who lives nearby said, "It looks like he went in on the other side and came around the lake and then went in."

Police and fire rescue crews responded and pulled out the vehicle from the lake. Page's body was then taken away by the medical examiner's office. "The car is upside down at the bottom of the lake ... it's a shame," said Don Shields.

The night of the accident, Page was on his way home. He lived a few blocks away.

Hi father said he knew immediately it was his son when he saw the lake. "He came to me in my dream and let me know he was all right ... God gave me that vision, and I'm looking at the landscape that God showed me, that my son is OK," said Isaac Sr.

Page was a single father of four children and worked hard for his kids, according to his family. "He stepped up. He stepped up to the plate like I was, and that made me proud of him," said Isaac Sr. "That's my boy, that's my buddy."

His family said they will do what they can to carry out Page's will. "All he wanted was to do right for his family and make his kids happy and do the right thing," said Isaac Sr. "He helped everyone else and now his kids need someone to help them. We have to step up to the plate, and we will do what we can do to make sure that PJ's wishes are done. It doesn't matter if I have to work two or three jobs, it's gonna happen."

Police are investigating what caused Page to crash into the lake.

His family is now planning his funeral.
