South Floridians attend job fair

MIAMI LAKES, Fla. (WSVN) -- Hundreds of job seekers turned out for a South Florida job fair.
Job News USA hosted a big job fair at Don Shula's Hotel in Miami Lakes Monday morning.
Job seekers lined up to fill out applications hoping to land a position with one of more than 30 organizations and companies, including the Miami Dolphins, the Gap and DeVry University. "If you have a lot of employers, then you're gonna have a much harder time trying to talk to the employers because there's not enough time to meet everybody," said applicant Santiago. "But this is a nice size, medium size, so it's a nice way to interact with employers."
More than 1,200 positions were up for grabs in different fields including customer service, IT specialists, software developers, cooks and bartenders.
