Experts work to prevent pest problems this Valentine's Day

MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WSVN) -- The mission is on to prevent a pest problem and make sure everything comes up roses this Valentine's Day.

Agriculture specialists from the Customs and Border Protections Office inspected flowers and plants that have come into South Florida.

Experts stationed at Miami International Airport are looking for bugs and plant diseases that could spread to Florida crops.

Miami ranks number one in the nation for imported flowers yearly.
