MIAMI (WSVN) -- A South Florida woman made it back home Wednesday night, after watching the president's address in person.
At 102 years of age, Desiline Victor, returned to a hero's welcome at Miami International Airport.
She was awarded a proclamation by Miami-Dade County, naming Feb. 13 Desiline Victor Day.
The president praised the North Miami resident for waiting in line for more than three hours to vote.
Obama used the experience to highlight the need to improve the voting process.
