Elderly man struck by hit-and-run driver

HIALEAH, Fla. (WSVN) -- An elderly man was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a hit-and-run driver, Thursday.

The victim, believed to be in his 60s, was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital after being struck in Hialeah Thursday night. His condition is unknown.

The accident happened along West 68th Street and Fourth Avenue in Hialeah. The driver took off.

Police have not released any information as to a possible vehicle description.
