Street affected by hurricane gets cleaned up

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Fort Lauderdale finally cleaned up the destruction left behind by Hurricane Sandy.
The Florida Department of Transportation will begin restoring the A1A seawall north of Sunrise Boulevard.
Construction will start Monday and will cost just over $8 million.
Crews will be working in the area between Northeast 14th Court and 18th Street on A1A.
The project is expected to be finished in early May.
