CORAL GABLES, Fla. (WSVN) -- A Boston family opened an orphanage in Haiti in memory of their daughter.

Now that family is telling their story in a newly released book.

Heartache and Hope in Haiti tells the story of 19-year-old who died in the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

Her last wish was to build an orphanage for the kids in the country.

Today, her parents told her story in Books and Books in Coral Gables. "It's shaped in a letter B for Britney," said Len Gengel. "It's designed for 33 boys and 33 girls. It's symbolic for the 33 days she was missing."

The orphanage took two years to build and over 40 trips to Haiti.

One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the book go directly to the orphanage.
