Crews investigate apartment fire

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (WSVN) -- Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that broke out at a South Florida apartment building.
The fire broke out just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday at Northeast 129th Street and Sixth Avenue. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said the fire started on the third floor of the building.
Residents were evacuated as fire crews worked to put out the fire. "I was in my apartment, and I asked my husband what happened because it smelled like something. When I opened the door, the balcony door, it was all smokey," said resident Jacky Orozco.
There is no word yet on what started the fire. No injuries were reported.
