Bartender charged in hit and run ordered to house arrest

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida woman charged in a deadly hit and run, was ordered to house arrest.

Twenty-year-old, Karlie Tomica was released from jail Monday.

She faces several charges including DUI manslaughter and leaving the scene of a crash involving death.

Police said the bartender struck and killed South Beach Executive Chef, Stefano Riccioletti, last month and then drove off.

Police said her blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit.
