Driver plunges car into canal, no injuries

MIAMI SPRINGS, Fla. (WSVN) -- A driver plunged his car into a canal, Monday.

The incident happened along North Royal Poinciana Boulevard and Thrush Avenue in Miami Springs.

The car was hooked up and lifted out with no one inside.

Police later caught up to the driver, who emerged unscathed, and arrested him. He was charged with littering and resisting arrest without violence.
