2 detained after home invasion

MIAMI (WSVN) -- At least two people are in police custody after a police perimeter was set up following a home invasion.

Police set up the perimeter just after 3 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Southwest 19th Terrace and 24th Avenue. According to investigators, the perimeter was connected to a home invasion that occurred earlier in Allapattah.

Officials were able to recover the stolen belongings and tracked the items back to the home.

The victims sustained minor injuries.

Police believe there may be other subjects on the loose.
