Plane makes emergency landing

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A plane safely made an emergency landing at the airport after the pilot had trouble maneuvering the aircraft.

US Airways flight 1232 has been cited with a hydraulics issue. The plane was coming from Montego Bay, Jamaica to North Carolina.

Fire crews arrived on site at Runway 9 Left to investigate.

The emergency landing did affect air traffic at the airport.

All 167 persons on board are reported to be OK. They were placed on another flight to continue their trip to North Carolina.
