Cell phone store burglarized

HIALEAH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Another cell phone store has been burglarized in South Florida.
Police said the burglars threw a bench through the front window of the store at West Hialeah Gardens Boulevard and 82nd Avenue before making off with merchandise, early Thursday morning.
The owner, who did not want his face shown, said he is simply fed up. "It's just frustrating. It's not only the Sprint stores, it's happening to every other wireless company out there, and it's also in different cities. We just hope that the police team up with all the other cities, combined together, so we can catch the people who are doing this. It's costing more the damage than the robbery."
The same owner was targeted back in January at his store in West Miami-Dade, located on 87th Avenue and Flagler. Thieves in that case backed a truck into the store.
Police are not saying whether the incidents are related.
If you have any information on this burglary, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
