Cyclist struck by driver

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police said a cyclist was struck while trying to cross the street in Kendall, Thursday morning.

The accident happened on Kendall Drive near Southwest 107th Avenue. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the cyclist and a pedestrian to the trauma center at Kendall Regional Hospital. It is unknown how the pedestrian was injured. They are both listed in stable condition.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
