Officials participate in disaster drill

PORT EVERGLADES, Fla. (WSVN) -- A disaster drill at Port Everglades put rescuers to the test.

Officials simulated a real-life portside emergency by purposely setting a cargo ship on fire, Thursday morning.

The Homeland Security exercise called on the Broward Sheriff's Office, Hollywood Fire Rescue and port authorities to put out the flames.
