MIAMI (WSVN) -- The State Attorney's Office has released documents and audio statements from witnesses who observed the death of an executive chef on South Beach.

Miami Beach Police said on Jan. 28, Karlie Tomica, a bartender, was driving up Collins Avenue when said she hit and killed Stefan Riccioletti, who was heading to work at the Shore Club.

One man witnessed the tragic accident. "I saw this guy's body who I saw previously flying across our driveway. The way he flew across the driveway he kind of flew up in the air," he said.

Tomica was followed up Collins Avenue by a Good Samaritan and was eventually arrested. Police said she was almost 3 times over the legal limit when she hit the father of two.

Tomica appeared in court last Friday, where the charges were upgraded to DUI manslaughter. She is currently out on bond.
