WESTON, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida high school is in the spotlight after inappropriate pictures of girls were featured on a website.

The pictures posted on a shocking website are too provocative to be shown on TV. Someone allegedly posted the nude images online of several girls from Cypress Bay High School in Weston.

The talk of the school was about the provocative pictures on Friday. All the students were in shock about the news. "The whole school has seen them, like everywhere you look someone is looking at a picture. It's horrible," said student Katya Gregory.

The picture featured on the website looked as if the girls had taken the photos themselves, but the picture fell into the wrong hands. Some pictures show some girls engaging in oral sex. "It was, like, in fourth period, and everyone was all over Twitter," said a student.

Justin Morfa said he knows two of the girls involved. "Today they were depressed, kind of embarrassed to be in school, like they didn't want to be there," he said.

The school district has not commented on the situation. They said the Broward Sheriffs Office will be conducting a criminal investigation.

BSO is trying to determine who created the website and if the girls in those images are minors. "If we are dealing with child pornography, then a crime has been committed, but if they are consenting adults, then there is no crime," said BSO spokesperson Veda Coleman-Wright.

The school has been in the spotlight before. Vice President Joe Biden gave the commencement speech recently. Last year, a social studies teacher was accused of having a sexual relationship with a student.

Officials urge parents to talk to their kids:

-Use news stories as teachable moments

-Encourage thinking before you send a text

-If your child makes a mistake, stay calm, but take action

-Talk to other parents about teens

BSO said until they can prove the girls are underage, no crime has been committed.

The website has not been taken down yet.
