South Floridians get wined and dined

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- It's time to wine and dine this weekend right here in South Florida.

It's that time of year, the South Beach Wine and Food Festival is here.

One of the activities that took place Saturday was the Whole Foods event in Miami Beach where Martha Stewart showed off her cooking skills.

Australian celebrity chef, Curtis Stone was also in attendance. "What could be bad?, said David Wolinsky. "It's like pinch me. You have food, wine, water, and sunshine. Life doesn't get any better than this, definitely."

But it does get better. Adding some spice to the festival is Saturday night's Diamond Dishes Dinner at Marlins Stadium.

It's being hosted by Julie Loria, wife of Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria.

The event will include the best female chefs from coast to coast with Major League Baseball players serving hors d'oeuvres.
