Injured turtle finally set free

SARASOTA, Fla. (WSVN) -- It was a rare sight to see on a West Florida beach.

A Loggerhead turtle is now finally headed back home.

The more than 200-pound turtle aptly named Big Bel was rescued on a beach in Fort Myers last November. Part of her flipper was missing.

Veterinarians in Sarasota helped to rehabilitate the turtle and get her back into the ocean.
