Man faces judge in hit-and-run case
MIAMI (WSVN) -- A South Florida man accused of a hit-and-run faced a judge.
Willie Pitts Jr. faces several charges, including DUI after he allegedly struck a pedestrian.
Police said Pitts slammed into a man crossing on Northwest 134th Street and 12th Avenue in North Miami, Saturday.
Police said they found his car a few blocks away while he was sleeping inside.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Pitt's bond has been set at $11,000.
