Jackson Memorial to open Kindsight foundation

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Jackson Memorial Hospital will be holding an opening reception for its new and permanent Kindsight installation at the hospital.

The opening reception for Robert Zuckerman's Kindsight installation will be held Tuesday from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. and will be hosted by President and CEO of Jackson Health System, Carlos Migoya, Chairman of the Jackson Memorial Foundation Carlos Lopez-Cantera and Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools Alberto Carvalho.

According to a statement, the purpose and hope of this Kindsight installation is to honor the human spirit and the rich spectrum of life at Jackson as well as support the hospital's vital mission of healing.

The installation will be located at the entrance of the Diagnostic Treatment Center and has been nicknamed the "Hall of Inspiration."

The Kindsight installation at the hospital would make Jackson Memorial the third major hospital after Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles and Aventura Hospital in Aventura, to house a permanent Kindsight display.
