Police search for Coconut Grove shooting suspects

COCONUT GROVE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Miami Police are currently searching for three men involved in a shooting in Coconut Grove, Wednesday morning.

According to police, three black males exchanged gunfire in the area of Grand Avenue and Elizabeth Street, shortly before noon. According to police, the individuals used high-powered weapons.

Police have since established a perimeter in the area while they search for the suspects.

As a precaution, George Washington Carver Elementary and Middle School were on lockdown.

Police said they have on suspect in custody in relation to the shooting but a search also continues.

No one was injured.
