Veteran police sergeant arrested for DUI

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (WSVN) -- A Coconut Creek police sergeant has been accused of being on the wrong side of the law.

Curtis Cuddeback, a 24-year veteran, was arrested for driving under the influence.

The department said several of his colleagues found him asleep behind the wheel, while off duty.

Police said he then failed a roadside sobriety test.

Cuddeback has been placed on paid leave pending the outcome of an investigation.
