City of Doral to honor sculptor

DORAL, Fla. (WSVN) -- A commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Thursday to honor sculptor LUGUFELO.

Doral Mayor Luigi Boria will present the official Proclamation of the City of Doral to sculptor LUGUFELO. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on the of Northwest 79th Avenue and 36th Street.

LUGUFELO, born Luis G. Fernandez, is an artist who combines his metal-modeling technique with cutting-edge technology.

In addition to the ceremony, the mayor will present an award to entrepreneur Frank Siberio for his continuous support of the city's artistic culture.
