Firefighters put out tractor trailer fire, no injuries

NORTH MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Firefighters have extinguished a fire involving a tractor trailer and another vehicle on the Florida Turnpike.
Firefighters and Florida Highway Patrol responded to the fire at around 210th Street in North Miami-Dade, Thursday, just after 5:30 p.m.
The second vehicle was heading southbound on the Turnpike when it collided with the tractor trailer just south of County Line Road, east of Calder Race Course.
Frustrated drivers were waiting in traffic as firefighters battled with the blaze. "Nightmare. My family is waiting for me to have dinner, so I think I'm having dinner alone," said driver Pablo Cialo.
Viewers sent 7News video as they found themselves stranded in traffic.
Firefighters were able to put out the blaze. Both drivers emerged with no serious injuries and are expected to be OK.
The northbound and southbound lanes were shut down for hours but have since reopened.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
