Driver, motorcyclist collide on MacArthur Causeway

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A driver collided with a motorcyclist on the westbound side of the MacArthur Causeway, Monday morning.

The accident, which occurred just before Biscayne Boulevard at around 5:30 a.m. sent the motorist to Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is listed in critical condition, but officials said he is expected to survive. The driver of the car was not injured.

All but one lane on the westbound side of the MacArthur Causeway were closed for over an hour.
