Dump truck rollover affecting afternoon commute

DAVIE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Florida Highway Patrol responded to a dump truck rolled over on the Florida Turnpike.

The dump truck rolled over on the northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike approaching Stirling Road in Davie, Wednesday afternoon. Investigators said the truck blew a tire, rolling over and spilling its load of gravel on to the road.

All northbound lanes approaching Sterling Road were shut down as crews cleaned up the street and turn the truck up-right.

The truck driver is OK.
