Firefighters contain small brush fire

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Firefighters have put out a small brush fire near some South Florida homes.

Pompano Beach Fire Rescue crews are on the scene after a brush fire burned near some homes in the area of Northeast 41st Court and 12th Avenue.

According to Pompano Beach Fire, it was a 45-minute firefight that is now under control.
