So. Fla. preps for Calle Ocho festival

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Preparations are underway for the annual Calle Ocho street festival in South Florida.

Crews are prepping for the large block party in Miami, Sunday.

The festival is named after the geographic location of the festival, Eighth Street.

Calle Ocho revelers come out every year to enjoy the food and music with an island flair.

The festival takes place along Eighth Street from Southwest Eighth Avenue to Southwest 27th Avenue.

Road closures go into effect Saturday night starting at 11:30 p.m.
